The ID Mesh office swivel chair embodies lightness and technical transparency. The knitted "Diamond Mesh" of the office chair is translucent like a net and soft like a thin upholstery. The Diamond Mesh allows air to circulate and therefore offers a pleasant sitting comfort even in hot summers. The Vitra ID Mesh is the ideal office seat for people who frequently break into a sweat. Alternatively, the Silk Mesh is available with a closed look, a back in black (Nero) and Soft Grey (the back). The five-star base of the chairs is designed in basic dark or die-cast aluminium with castors (double castors) or glides. In addition to the standards, there are numerous optional colors and features.

The modern chair is equipped with lumbar support, backrest counterforce and locking device and can be ergonomically adjusted to your individual body size with these technical possibilities; seat height, armrest height and width are adjustable. Antonio Citterio

Antonio Citterio, born in 1950, studied architecture at the Polytechnic in Milan. He worked as a freelance industrial designer with Paolo Nava before devoting himself to designing furniture and other furnishings. Since 1999 the designer has been working with Patricia Viel in Milan in the office "Antonio Citterio and Partners". Citterio works as a lecturer and sees himself as an architect who sees space as the basis for good product design. Citterio designed seating furniture, shelves, kitchens and bathrooms. Twice he received the coveted Compasso d'Oro.
